No Opt Out Teach Like a Champion

Teaching and Learning Strategy 1: No Opt Out

Turn “I don't know” into success by ensuring that students who won't try or can't answer practice getting it right.

Move away from students opting out by saying words like "I don't know". No Opt Out is about making sure students take ownership of their learning in the classroom.  The advantages of this strategy is that it helps students who generally do not know the answer to be able to give a correct one. Imagine if you felt that you were never able to give the correct answer? No Opt Out will help students build up their confidence!
